Through Jenny’s help, I have gained both practical coping skills and a mindset shift towards my ADHD.
Through her knowledge and understanding, I have been able to accept my diagnosis and learn how to best work with it rather than trying to fit in with neurotypical ways of living and working. She also helped me build confidence in advocating for myself and my needs and helped me understand what these are.
I’ve learnt lots about ADHD and how it affects me, from everything from food/sleep/daily lifestyle habits to working styles and job choices.
Jenny also helps with practical ways of organising my work and getting things done, e.g., breaking tasks down, organising methods, and methods for getting around executive dysfunction. This makes my work feel more manageable, gives me ways of getting things done, and means I can keep on top of work without getting overwhelmed or burnt out.
I find Jenny to be an effective, encouraging, and inspiring coach. Her sessions are always well structured and allow me to come to effective conclusions with clear actions to take away. I always find myself refreshed and ready to get things done after meeting with Jenny. I find that I very rarely have conversations where someone understands how a neurodivergent mind works, and it is a huge relief to feel understood and supported.
She asks open questions and allows me to guide the session in a way that would help me. She also holds me accountable and asks how things we’ve previously spoken about are going.
She is incredibly knowledgeable about neurodiversity, and her suggestions are always evidence-based and tailored to my specific condition. She explains the reasoning behind why my brain might work a certain way, which means I understand my diagnosis more deeply and can approach different situations and decisions with my ADHD needs in mind.
Jenny often shares her own experiences as someone who is neurodivergent, and I really respect and relate to her in this way.

I have seen other coaches and therapists before, but none of them had a lasting positive impact on my life besides Jenny.
She listens to my individual needs and helps me find the best tools to work with my challenges. She listens attentively and remembers details of my life, which I appreciate.
As an autistic person, I feel safe and understood. Since I started my coaching sessions, I have gained a better understanding of my autism diagnosis and how to work with it and better accommodate myself.
She has also helped me find tools to make studying more manageable, as that was a big issue for me.
She has helped me on my employment journey by providing feedback and helping me prepare for interviews. With the tools provided by her and her help with making me understand myself at a deeper level, I am able to manage daily life a lot better than before.
In the past year my self-esteem has improved as well as my social life and job prospects and Jenny’s support is one of the big reasons for those positive changes.

Her support has been transformative, especially as I navigated the complexities of accepting my autism diagnosis and adapting to significant changes in my work environment.
The most significant benefit I received from Jenny’s coaching was her ability to empower me to develop both work-based and life-based strategies that are tailored to my unique needs.
She created a safe, non-judgmental space where I felt understood and supported, which allowed me to truly accept my diagnosis and work through the associated challenges.
Her guidance helped me grow in self-acceptance and in developing coping mechanisms for my professional life.
One of the things that made the coaching particularly effective was her ability to not impose her own agenda but to instead guide me towards developing my own strategies. This approach encouraged personal growth and self-reliance, which was a key difference from my previous experiences with counsellors.
Jenny’s coaching skills are outstanding in several ways:
- Supportive and Non-Judgmental Approach: Her warmth and understanding made me feel comfortable sharing my thoughts without fear of judgment. This allowed me to be honest and open, something I struggled with in previous counselling experiences.
- Intuitive and Perceptive: Jenny has an incredible ability to recognize when I’m struggling, often before I even articulate it myself. She consistently noticed shifts in my energy, whether it was high or low, and adapted our sessions accordingly. This helped me mask less and communicate more authentically, something that previous counsellors hadn’t achieved.
- Effective Strategy Development: Her ability to help me devise personalized strategies was invaluable. Instead of prescribing solutions, she guided me to find approaches that resonated with my own life, making them more sustainable and impactful.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Jenny was always accommodating with our sessions, understanding the importance of flexibility. When my grant was reduced, she skillfully adjusted the frequency of our sessions in a way that allowed me to transition smoothly without feeling overwhelmed or that my routine was affected.

Something I really value about Jenny is she is so able to hold a space where things are not black and white.
She is at ease with things being complex. She is not dogmatic about neurodivergent traits or lived experiences and is always clear that it can be different for every individual.
She doesn’t push one particular way of working. It’s always as if she is much more focussed on working with you the person and your personal set of issues -which feels really good and not like she is trying to fit you and your issues or the ways she thinks you may be helped into a one size fits all box.

I reached out to Jenny due to the breadth of areas that she covers.
I did not want counselling to revisit past events that cannot be changed. Rather, I wanted support and guidance that would enable me to have the best life going forward.
I doubt that I could have picked a better person than Jenny to facilitate me on this journey.
In the initial meeting to establish if we would be a good fit, Jenny conveyed to me that I could be blunt and straightforward, as this is my natural communication style.
As a person that masks with most people because this style can be seen as rude, it was the explicit permission slip that I needed to speak freely enabling me to fully benefit from the sessions.
Being able to engage without continuous cognitive processing and filtering in a safe space is uncovering my authentic self and giving me confidence to be unmasked in some other settings.
Jenny is adept at identifying when I need support with practical information. When to play devils advocate for growth. And when to allow space for silence, as what I am vocalising is a means of self reflection to come to my own answer.
