Dyslexia Coaching

Dyslexia Coaching

Strengths-based support for navigating challenges and building confidence

Dyslexia affects far more than just reading and writing—it can influence how you process information, organise tasks, manage time, and navigate everyday life. It can also affect self-confidence, particularly in environments that aren’t designed with neurodivergent thinking in mind.

Coaching offers a safe, non-judgemental space to explore your experiences and develop strategies that work with your brain—not against it. Whether you’ve recently received a diagnosis, have known for years, or simply suspect you’re dyslexic, this is a space where your way of thinking is understood and supported.

Coaching can support you to:

  • Build confidence and self-advocacy in education, work, or personal life
  • Develop personalised organisational tools and planning strategies
  • Support working memory and information processing with practical techniques
  • Understand your learning profile and how to communicate your needs
  • Manage fatigue and emotional overwhelm from environments that require constant self-monitoring
  • Navigate workplace or academic demands—from writing reports to managing emails or deadlines
  • Identify assistive technologies and tools that ease cognitive load
  • Process past negative experiences and move forward with greater self-acceptance
  • Recognise your strengths—including creativity, big-picture thinking, and problem solving
  • Create sustainable routines that feel manageable, not overwhelming.

Sessions are always tailored to you. We focus on what’s most relevant and useful in your life right now—whether that’s thriving at work, managing study demands, or simply feeling more in control day to day.

Based in the UK?

You May Be Eligible for Access to Work

If you’re in employment or self-employment in the UK, you may be able to access government funding for coaching through the Access to Work scheme. This can cover workplace needs assessments and ongoing strategy coaching.

I provide coaching privately or through Access to Work funding. Sessions are delivered remotely and can be arranged in one- or two-hour blocks—at a time that works for both you and your employer. All you need is a quiet, private space to talk.

How to Get Started with Access to Work Coaching:

  1. Contact Access to Work via gov.uk and complete the application.
  2. Let them know you’d like to be supported by Jenny Meeres.
  3. Once you receive your award letter, email a copy to me.
  4. I’ll prepare a formal quote for you to submit to Access to Work.
  5. Once approved, we’ll book your coaching sessions.

If you need support with the process, I’m happy to guide you through it.
